The FCBEscola Peru was visited by the ex-player Nolberto Solano, one of the best Peruvian footballers of all time and current assistant coach for their national team. Solano took part in one of the school’s most important dates of the year, the Sport Day, along with the young players.

The ex-footballer, who scored 20 goals in his 95 international appearances, was first called up at the age of 22 when playing for the Argentinian side Boca Juniors managed by Bambino Veira and led by Diego Armando Maradona. His performances there saw him chosen as the second best South American footballer in 1997 behind Marcelo Salas. A year later, Solano became the first Peruvian to play in England when he signed for Newcastle United.
